A FORMFAST project begins with a start up meeting where we discuss and select the appropriate product for the material. Together we specify requirements, drawings and surface treatments. 

Our team will prepare the 3D mould, the machines and the material. The final week of the project we evaluate the prototype together and discuss a plan for further development. 

Since we are working with a completely new material, with new qualities and superpowers, we need to find its best use by trying it on different applications. Be prepared that a FORMFAST project is of an experimental kind – so get ready to rumble.

DESIGN AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT FROM PRODUCT BIRTH TO AFTER LIFE

A FORMLIFE project starts with discussing the potential product or series you are interested in developing. We will gather all your requirements and research any additional information. We will get to know the customer; how they will use the product, what is important to them, what kind of existing solutions there are to the problem today, what materials could be used for a long solid life cycle, what will happen to the product when not in use; could it be multifunctional and what will happen to its parts after its lifetime etc? 

From here we are ready to start the design and development work by sketching suggestions for you. We'll propose how the product could work, look and be produced in an efficient way which will give us something to work from and discuss. Together, we will find a solution that is sustainable and right for the market. 

If you need help with manufacturing the product or sell and market it, we have a great network that we'd love to hook you up with. We will be there for you for as long as you need us.

UPCYCLING WASTE INTO NEW BIOMATERIALS

Do you have a residual stream or waste with low value? We can help you in our FORMUP project.

We will start with examining your source and set up a team that will help you develop the waste into a material. This kind of project is our most experimental one. We will probably discover something different than expected – but the result will nevertheless blow your mind.
